The 2nd Annual Huntington Sustainability Fair, held on May 21st at the Wild Ramp in Central City from 10am-4pm, was a great success in spite of the threat of rain all day. We lucked out with just a sprinkle here and there, till the real rain came at 4pm, at the close of the fair. We estimate that roughly 400 came out to The Wild Ramp on 14th St. West in the Central City area of Huntington, WV. Tour DePATH had a great annual bike ride along the Paul Ambrose Trail for Health, WVCA and MU Environmental Health and Safety hosted an excellent rain barrel demonstration, and there were tons of wonderful local musicians who performed at the fair as their volunteer contribution. Many more workshops and demonstrations were hosted.
Sustainability Fair Success!
